Brunch

Brunch is the equivalent of a picnic with family or friends, the difference is that the brunch is rather take home, in the garden or restaurant. The brunch is a mix between breakfast and lunch of "late risers". Taken in the late morning around 11am, however, it may last until early afternoon to around 15h.



This is a great breakfast that brings together all the ingredients for two meals together. It is considered a festive meal that usually offers dishes exceptionally selected for this occasion. But the menu is not set, all dishes are served at the same time, either a starter or a dessert, sweet or savory. If one traces the origin of this special meal, we find the United States in the eighteenth century. It was then exported to Britain to land on French soil in 1980. Brunch then enters the list of the most popular meals in the country, especially by young people. Therefore, many dining establishments such as cafes and restaurants, offering their customers this weekend. What differentiates the French brunch brunch U.S. is that the U.S. takes this meal in the afternoon, between lunch and dinner, hence the name "buffet breakfast": a kind of taste quite rich, with sparkling wine and / or various cocktails Bloody Mary or Bellini. The dishes that can be found on the table must necessarily be varied in flavor and quite original.




The sweet part is mainly composed of dishes usually served at breakfast (pastries, toast, pancakes, cereals, cakes) or salted products such as preparations egg (on the flat, omelette, boiled) dairy products (or other white cheese). You can also get bacon, fish or cold chicken, ham and vegetables of all kinds, not to mention the drinks. Opt for 100% natural juices or tea (iced or normal), coffee, milk, chocolate, honey. Finally, the dessert offers a wide selection of cakes, cakes (cheesecake), pastries (fruit pies, brownies, lightning) or stewed fruit (pears, pineapple) flavored with spices and rare spices (vanilla cinnamon), without forgetting the eternal yogurt that can accompany many dishes. Most savory dishes may be included in the lunch menu. Examples include roasts, sausages (in grill, with sauce ...), fish (mackerel, herring ...) or poultry and savory tarts (quiches) along with different types of breads and bagels.
